Selling with Stories

The art of persuasion begins with engaging an audience in the most meaningful way. Stories are the most effective way to win people over and give them a message that sticks. Think about it, ever since our childhood we learn best from stories; from Bible to bedtime stories, from Jonah to Jack and the Beanstalk, some of life’s greatest lessons are conveyed through a story.

In this one day, small group seminar, participants will be challenged in creating a great story from scratch. By using Narrative Mapping as a foundation, each person will share their original story with the group. Each story will be judged by peers on the following criteria: Was the story compelling? Was it ordered and concise? Did it cause the listener to reflect or elicit emotion? Was the story memorable enough to share with anyone else?
