Sheffield Marketing Partners is seeking an intelligent, self-directed college student who is passionate about storytelling and able to work in a fast paced, creative environment where he/she can improve his/her skills while contributing to the agency’s success.
Sheffield is a boutique-marketing agency in Chicago’s west suburbs that specializes in messaging, video production and content development. We help organizations find their story and create compelling ways to package and tell it.
Position Description:
The responsibilities of this staff position are:
- Extensive writing experience especially in developing creative concepts (video scripts, PR, blogging, white papers, copywriting and editorials)
- Intelligent – able to understand complex strategies and ideas.
- Exceptional attention to detail and responsiveness.
- Experience in e-marketing, social media and App development a plus.
- Ability to create and deliver quality work.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Working towards BA/BS in Journalism, Marketing, Business Management or other related field. (Liberal Arts/Art & Letters majors a plus!)
- Excellent writer with previous writing experience (school newspaper, blog postings, social media, web content development etc.)
- Must be able to provide a variety of writing samples.
- Ability to simplify complex subject matter in a compelling way.
- Self-directed analytical thinker.
- Buttoned-up professional with high attention to detail.
- Experience working in a team environment and managing projects
