John McCormack is the Senior Engagement Leader at the Sheffield Institute, where he leads professional development for Sheffield’s client base. He is responsible for designing and leading workshops that help professionals achieve strategic and effective communication.

John’s consulting experience allows him to fulfill his passion for serving clients as a facilitator, partner and teacher. He excels at motivating professionals through effective and engaging presentations, and he possesses a deep understanding of how to customize communications to resonate with a wide variety of audiences.
While serving as a manager with LifeSource Blood Services for more than 10 years, John utilized his exceptional skills in message development and dissemination to support local blood supply in the greater Chicago area. As Manager of Training and Development, he coached professionals in the development of messaging and storytelling techniques, using his enthusiasm and passion to effectively elevate the voice of the brand and carry it across the entire organization. His clients included Chicago Public Schools, Abbott Laboratories, Chicago Archdiocese and Baxter.
John earned a Bachelor of Arts in history from Loyola University Chicago and spent more than two years teaching English as a second language in Lithuania and Spain.
